Overshove vs Poker Stack
Poker Stack is a polished iPhone and iPad tracker with cash and tournament logging, cost deductions, bankroll analytics and generated coaching summaries. Overshove is a web-first review system with a free core, Windows access and a separate study loop. The choice is platform and workflow, not a claim that one tracker wins every row.

Which player fits Poker Stack?
Poker Stack fits a player who wants a native Apple experience and a focused results product. Its September 2026 App Store listing describes quick cash and tournament entry, rebuys, stack checks, costs, bankroll trends, monthly profit and loss, hourly profit, location performance and streaks. It also lists a six-month projection and conservative Poker Coach summaries tied to completed sessions. Active tracking and editing require a Weekly or Yearly Pass under the same listing.
That is a coherent package for a player whose phone is the centre of the workflow. The listing says cloud backup and restore are available when signed in, plus shareable snapshots with controls to hide amounts and notes. If those jobs cover the review you actually do, switching for a longer feature list would create work without a clear gain.
Where is Overshove different?
Overshove separates the ledger from the study loop. Sessions feed stake, venue, cost and bankroll views today. Marked hands, player reads, leak tags and study entries are in development. It runs as a web app in phone and desktop browsers, which suits a player who logs on one device and reviews on another platform.
The free core and CSV export also change the decision. Overshove is designed so a player can keep logging and take the history out without a recurring subscription. It does not offer Poker Stack's generated Poker Coach summary or present a six-month bankroll projection as a reason to switch.
How should you test the two?
Use the same ten sessions in both products. Compare the time needed to start and finish a session, the treatment of rebuys and expenses, the final net, the hourly and the export or backup route. Then run one weekly review. Ask whether the product helps you turn a marked decision into a study action, or whether a clean results record is all you need.
Do not migrate the full history until the totals match. Keep the original export, confirm currencies and dates, and leave fields blank where the old product did not measure them. The correct choice is the tracker you will use after a difficult loss and can leave without losing the sample.
