Install path by platform

On a phone, open the web app and add it to your home screen from the browser menu. On Windows, use the beta build if you want the desktop review surface. On iOS and Android, native apps come later; until then the browser app is the logging surface, and it is the one we expect most players to use at the table.

The important rule is one account. Do not build separate samples on different devices. Log the session where it happens, then review the same data on the bigger screen when the session is done.

For most players, the web app should be the default because the phone is where live sessions actually get captured. Add it to the home screen, keep the log entry short, and save deeper review for later. The desktop build is for the heavier work: checking the bankroll line, exporting CSV, reading variance and writing study notes from marked hands.

If you already have an old spreadsheet or tracker export, keep that history. Overshove is designed around one continuous sample, so importing the old record and logging new sessions into the same account matters more than which screen you use first.
