Method and assumptions

With no other known cards, a pocket pair hits at least one matching rank on 1 minus C(48,3) / C(50,3) of flops. The result separates exactly one matching card from flopped quads. Future winnings needed equal max(0, call / hit probability minus call minus current pot). This optimistic payoff model assumes every set or quads wins, every miss loses the call, and no extra money is lost. Real sets can lose or fail to get paid.
