Multiple bankrolls, kept honestly separate

Updated June 2026 · by Tom Howcroft

One blended graph hides two very different win rates and risk profiles. Overshove lets you keep separate bankrolls so each format tells its honest story, with a combined view when you want the total.

Why separate matters

Live cash, online and a tournament series have different variance and different edges. Mixing them into one number lets a tournament dry spell make your cash game look broken, or an online upswing flatter a leaky live game.

A roll per context

Run a roll for live cash, one for online, and a ring-fenced one for a trip or a shot. Each has its own graph, hourly and risk read, so you can manage and move up on each independently.

One combined view

When you want the whole picture, a combined view sums them. The split stays available underneath, so the total never hides where the money is actually made and lost.

What you get
  • Separate rolls for live, online, trips and shots.
  • Each roll keeps its own graph, hourly and risk read.
  • A combined view for the total picture.
  • Move up or down on each roll independently.

How this fits the review loop

This feature earns its place only if it makes the next session cleaner. The Overshove loop is deliberately small: log the session, read the number beside the sample, mark the useful hand or leak, then carry one action into study. If a feature cannot support that loop, it stays out of the way.

Judge it with your own data. A strong feature should reduce skipped sessions, make a cost visible, stop a bad stake decision, or give your coach a cleaner packet. Pretty charts are optional; a decision you can defend is the point.

Questions

Can I see everything together?

Yes. A combined view sums your rolls, while the per-roll splits stay available so each stat stays honest.

Should live and online be separate?

Track them separately. Their variance and metrics differ, so a single blended figure misleads.
