Pocket-pair cooler odds

Count the chance a random opponent has a higher pocket pair, plus precisely defined set-over-set flop events.

This is conditional on your known pair. Opponents receive disjoint random hands from the remaining deck. Their decisions and playing ranges are not used.

Method and assumptions

Condition on your known pocket pair and deal every labelled opponent an unordered two-card hand without replacement. Inclusion-exclusion counts the event that at least one opponent holds a higher pair, accounting for deals where several opponents qualify. Exact integer deal counts are retained. Opponent ranges, actions and equity are not modelled; random dealing is an assumption, not a read on an opponent.
